These terms apply when you use the Heat Pump Guide app. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. Questions: support@heatpumpparts.co.uk.
What the app is
Heat Pump Guide is a library of installation and service manuals for heat pump installers and engineers. The manuals come from the manufacturers. We collect and organise them; we do not write them.
Your account
You need an account to open manuals. Keep your sign-in to yourself and tell us if you think someone else is using it. You can delete your account at any time in the app, under Account > Delete account.
Free and Pro
- A free account can open 3 different manuals each calendar month.
- Pro is a subscription that opens any manual with no limit. You buy it, renew it and cancel it through the App Store or Google Play, under their terms. It renews until you cancel, and stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own rules.
Using the manuals
The manuals are licensed content. You may read them for your own work. You may not copy, share, sell or publish them, or try to get around the app's protections, such as the block on screenshots and screen recordings.
Check before you work
We do our best to keep the library complete and up to date, but a manual may be out of date, incomplete or not the right one for a unit. Always check the model and version against the unit in front of you, and follow the manufacturer's instructions, safety rules and the regulations that apply to your work. We are not responsible for loss or damage caused by relying on a manual in the app, as far as the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under UK consumer law.
Changes and ending
We may change the app, the library or these terms. If the terms change, we update this page and the date at the top. We may close an account that breaks these terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
